Randel-10 weeks, and his gorgeous mama! These two were so sweet. It was so nice seeing such a sweet bond between mother and baby.
Baby Charlotte-13 months now!

Charlotte is such a beautiful little baby whose mother I met just before Charlotte was born. I have had the opportunity to photograph her now and then and she is always so easy to photograph. Here she is today.
In the below photo I am actually on the ground peeking at her under a bench.
Here she is so peaceful at 3 months.
I have to say that this one is one of my all time favorites. I love little baby bubbles.
And at 3 months…wide awake and ready to go!

I have honestly never had a newborn shoot like this before. Dylan is quite possibly the calmest baby I have met yet. The entire shoot was peaceful and relaxed. We moved him around so many times. We got him naked, then dressed, then naked, then dressed, and on and on. We propped him up in all sorts of cute positions. And he was just happy and looking around the whole time. He cried once. I tried to capture his face because, as a mother, I know that while you may not like that screaming baby face now, in just a few years you will cherish every photo of him crying. But when I went to snap the picture he immediately went serene again. It will be so nice to have those sweet baby days back again. I just told my almost-four year old to get back in bed and he looked down, shook his head, and said “Chill out, Mama. Just chill out.”

What a beautiful family! Rebecca booked me months before and then on what was supposed to be right after her due date I got a call from her telling me that Lola was already a month old! She is a stunning baby-like her parents, and it was a fun session to shoot. You can just tell how in love they are with her and with each other.
Just love this one. I know it is horrible to love the expressions of screaming babies, but it is too cute. Can you tell it has been awhile since I have had my own newborn? I guess that why I am okay with putting babies into baskets:)
