Could anything be more beautiful?  Other than the baby itself, of course;) Which means…we will be having a lot of newborn photos in the next few weeks!

Another beautiful belly

With only a few hours to go before we meet the beautiful baby. I will post more from this session soon, but wanted mom to at least get a sneak peak before heading off to the hospital. I will be posting newborn photos in a week or two too. I love my job.

Today I dragged my poor son and husband out in the freezing  cold weather just so I could check this place out.  This is actually the place that we have a storage locker.  We found huge piles of tires and old bikes.  I love it!  And Elijah was very good natured since I promised him a lollypop.  We could only spend a few minutes there though, it was just way too cold.

Henry-12 months

Henry is such a little sweetheart.  His mom woke him up early from his nap so that we could do this.  He hung in there for awhile, but then broke down from the cold.  We were trying out a new location and getting some practice in.  I am absolutely going to do shoots at this location for now on, although We’ll have to go down the street for some beautiful mountain shots as well.  Either way, I am so glad I explored a little bit and found out!

Elijah’s 4th birthday!

My baby is 4 years old!  It is breaking my heart a little.  If I was not pregnant it would be harder.  But I will soon have a little baby, so I can let this one grow up now.  Elijah had a great time.  It was nice to see him with his friends from school and he loved having them over to his home.

This is Isabella, one of Elijah’s best friends at school and one of the sweetest little girls I have met.

We made him a homemade “Airplane” birthday cake and he loved it.

Elijah’s fabulous teacher Eliana.  I am sad I did not think to get a photo of Minirva, she is like a mother to him.  We feel so lucky that they came.  It really made the party for Elijah.

Marissa-this is Elijah’s very favorite friend.  Every day on the way home from school, and after school, and before school, and on the weekends, Elijah endlessly goes on about “Marissa said this,” “Marissa does that,” “Well, Marissa says…”  It is very cute.  She is a such a sweetheart, too.

Zane-2 months old

Seriously, this is a photo I think I would put up in my house, just to make me happy.  And its not my baby:)  Zane is just so darn cute.

Sam-one week old

How gorgeous is this little baby?  He is the first newborn I have photographed that has reminded me of my own son.  I think it is the eyes.  Very present for being just 1 week old.  Elijah’s birth announcement looked just like this first photo. Samuel is just the perfect newborn.

I really can’t get enough of these cute poses.  There is nothing sweeter than looking back and seeing one of these photographs and just feeling how small your baby used to be.  I know it is a cliche , but they really do grow up so fast.

Randel-10 weeks

Randel-10 weeks, and his gorgeous mama!  These two were so sweet. It was so nice seeing such a sweet bond between mother and baby.

Baby Charlotte-13 months now!

Charlotte is such a beautiful little baby whose mother I met just before Charlotte was born.  I have had the opportunity to photograph her now and then and she is always so easy to photograph.  Here she is today.

In the below photo I am actually on the ground peeking at her under a bench.

Here she is so peaceful at 3 months.

I have to say that this one is one of my all time favorites.  I love little baby bubbles.
